TRUE FRIENDSHIP

friendship is a wonderful thing,
full of that special friendship ring,
if you can say that you have had one true friend,
they you have been blessed to no end,

friendship likes roller coaster rides,
they have up and down just like the tides,
so many things can go right or wrong,
and yet friendship can last really long,

some friendship last for your whole life,
while others end with stab of knife,
no matter which way a friendship ends,
it's what you take out of it that depends,

i have had many true friends through the years,
they've come and gone with its share of tears,
but i have been blessed to no end,
because i have at least one true friend.
